I had no idea that Paul Newman had terminal lung cancer with only a short time to live until I read GridCrasher's latest post about him taking his Corvette GT1 for one last spin around Lime Rock Park. I had the great fortune of photographing Mr. Newman at the Edmonton Grand Prix in 2007, and managed to capture a rare on-camera smile! He's a champion road racer, Indy/Champ Car team owner, and legendary actor. All the best Cool Hand, and let's hope the doctors are wrong!
